They were accommodating and understanding of our large work party that showed up on an early weeknight needing separate checks (because of work reimbursement policies) - not like a lot of other places that absolutely refuse to split checks. The food was reasonably priced for portion sizes and delicious. Everyone was a happy camper with both entrees and drinks. Appreciate there being a good option in the French Quarter that is historic and can still accommodate work dinners.

The Original Pierre Maspero's was our first stop when in NoLa. They had a line to be seated but it moved pretty fast. I ordered the jambalaya which was 3 nice scoops of rice with some bread. Very buttery and delicious! I also ordered a side salad which paired well with my meal. The bf ordered gumbo which he loved, and a side of jambalaya to get the best of both worlds. I tried a Louie Louie Pimm's cup. I will say that I did not like the taste at all. I guess I should've expected that since it's basically a w33d drink. It made me very calm, if anything. Not my favorite. The service was good. The food does take a bit to come out, but hey yummy food takes time! It was a bit chilly inside. Overall, it was a nice first meal in NoLa.

My daughter and I went here on New Year's Eve. We did have a little wait and it wasn't bad considering the timeframe we were going to eat. One other thing we really liked was the fact that this was a kid, friendly establishment and had something for everyone. As busy as they were, their staff was courteous and welcoming. I like the fact that they did not make you feel rushed during your meal. Since I couldn't decide on what I wanted, I noticed the sampler and I went for the trifecta with the jambalaya, gumbo, and étouffée. They do have one where you can have all four and that one includes red beans and rice with the three I just mentioned. I was very happy and content to have all my favorite dishes in one setting. I paired it with their Amber Ale. What makes the experience fun and unique is that it's very quaint and friendly.

We have been here twice and the food never disappoints!! We tried gator bites here on our first visit and they were delicious, this time I had their French onion soup and I'm definitely getting it next time we are here. The waitresses are so sweet and give excellent customer service! You can't go wrong with either breakfast or stopping by for lunch... this is a place I would definitely recommend!

Met some friends for the weekend as we were taking them to their first ever New Orleans Saints game. Saturday we walked the french quarter and stopped at this little gem for lunch. Great service and food. Great for a taste of Louisiana and New Orleans. The Seafood pot pie was featured on TV and was very good. A must try.

Price points of the food were standard of what you can get around the area and the service was ok. Just like most other restaurants in the area, the ambiance is cozy and vibrant. Crescent city sampler: 8/10 I love a sampler and each one was good and flavorful Fried alligator: 8/10 it's as good as a fried piece of seafood can get. I didn't really taste much of the gator itself, but there were a lot of pieces that were cartilaginous

This was the first restaurant we stopped at in New Orleans for dinner. We tried the Crescent City Sampler with a side of steamed veggies and the homemade caramel bread pudding. It was all so yummy. The cajun jambalaya from the sampler was my favorite! The bread pudding came out piping hot and was super creamy and delicious. The food came out very quickly and our waiter was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Pierre's is conveniently located on the opposite corner of Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter. The service is quick and the environment is always so welcoming. We were only visiting for a short time and wanted to visit our favorite restaurants but also try some new ones on our list. Pierre's is an absolute favorite, so in one day we dined here twice -for brunch and dinner. For brunch, I had the chicken and waffles which were very lightly seasoned which I didn't think I would enjoy so much. By the end of my meal, I was all in...nodding with every bite and repeatedly saying out loud, "Oh yeah this is good..this right here is good." The chicken was juicy and went very well with the waffles. Again, it's sort of plain but the flavors come together well as you continue to eat it. It is paired with a very hot (as in spicy) honey syrup which is not for the weak. I must've looked weak, so the server reminded me that they also have the regular syrup, and I thanked her for that. When we returned for dinner, I tried the blackened redfish with creamy grits and a side of french fries. Now if I get quiet while I'm eating, it is because I am in full appreciation mode. It is best to just leave me be while I take in all of the flavor and delectableness in front of me. That is how I felt about this meal. The redfish was surprisingly filling and paired well with the spinach and sautéed onions and peppers on the side. I have not been to one restaurant in NOLA that does not know how to cook grits properly, so I wasn't surprised that I enjoyed their grits. The fries were crisp and airy, not salty. Delicious! They have beer on tap which includes Blue Moon and Purple Haze. Purple Haze is always a nice surprise to see at any restaurant. If you haven't guessed by now, we will be back, because good food is guaranteed here.

We picked Pierre Maspero's after seeing they had gator bites on the menu! We felt incredibly fortunate that this was our first meal in New Orleans (after beignets, of course). A massive bloody mary and jambalaya were the perfect pair for me. Clay ordered the redfish. The portions were very large and neither of us could finish the meals, but we wanted to! Excellent lunch!!! We were happy sitting at the bar and were lucky to meet Ms. Mary! She was a sweetheart and certainly the celebrity on staff. I enjoyed reading her five-star review framed by the bar and promised to leave her one as well :) Ms. Mary, if you see this I wanted to thank you for being part of such a wonderful first impression of New Orleans.

We had an enjoyable delicious breakfast with the greatest service from Mary! No wrong picks & excellent Bloody Mary's!
